Irene Wachsler is a Certified Public Accountant specializing in accounting and tax solutions for small businesses, self-employed individuals, nonprofits, and the film and entertainment industry.
Irene is dedicated helping her clients keep their financial lives organized, use their numbers make better financial decisions, and save money on taxes through proactive tax planning. She is also experienced in cryptocurrency taxation including tax preparation and problem resolution.


Jamie Gruol is a problem solver. As a TaxDome Guru, she co-created Workflows For Tax ProsTM, which has impacted the lives and practices of over 600 Tax Professionals, Accountants, and Bookkeepers in its first two years. Jamie believes that automation is the only way to build a business that is both profitable and creates time freedom.With a background in accounting, an MBA, and over a decade of software implementation, Jamie has brought her invaluable experience into the Accounting arena to help the deserving small practice superheroes of the industry to have the same automation innovation and efficiencies as the industry behemoths without the overhead of an IT team.Jamie lives in the mountains of Vermont with her husband, Mike, and two children. When not adventuring with her family, Jamie can be found mountain biking, hiking, skiing, or gardening.


Jamie Jorgenstone is a Certified Public Accountant and Calyx CPA's Chief Technical Officer. Jamie holds a B.S. in Public Accounting and a minor in Economics, earned from Southern Oregon University, and has dedicated the bulk of her professional career to researching IRC Section 280E, helping business owners in the cannabis space navigate the complexities of the tax code, and developing strategies to save business owners money while staying compliant. Jamie is the primary author of the methodologies currently being employed by Calyx to help the cannabis and psychedelics industry mitigate the impacts Section 280E.


Jane Ryder, EA, CPA is a national speaker on many accounting, tax, and business compliance topics. She runs her CPA firm, Brass Tax Ryder Professional Group, Inc.in San Diego, California. Brass Tax (not affiliated with Brass Tax Presentations) has been providing tax and accounting services since 1980.Brass Tax is a business centric practice, preparing and consulting on the preparation of Corporations, S corporations, LLCs, Partnerships, and Trusts. She also specializes in IRS and state agencies collections, audit appeals, offers in compromise, and other compliance related matters.


Jared Foos has been a tax preparer for over 12 years and an enrolled agent with the IRS since 2018. He is the owner of Foos-Garvin Accounting, Inc. and serves in various tax affiliated associations. Mr. Foos is an instructor for many educational associations including NATP and OSU.


Jaye E Tritz, EA, CFP ® holds a bachelor’s degree from Northwestern University and hasrecently retired from active tax practice. She was formerly a multi-unit franchise ownerwith H&R Block, having been twice honored as National Franchisee of the Year by thatcompany. During her thirty-one-year career as a tax preparer, she earned her EnrolledAgent designation in 1997 and became an NTPI Fellow in 2010. Jaye is also a CertifiedFinancial Planner and holds Series 6, 7, and 63 securities licenses. Jaye has been anationally recognized instructor and presenter for over 15 years.


Jessica L. Smith, EA, NTPI Fellow, is an influential thought leader in the tax profession—widely known for helping small business owners and tax professionals navigate IRS complexities and implement strategic, high-impact tax planning. With over 15 years of experience, Jessica specializes in resolving difficult tax issues, minimizing liabilities, and equipping professionals to operate at the top of their game.
As an Enrolled Agent and NTPI Fellow, she holds the highest level of credentialing and advanced training in IRS representation. Jessica is federally authorized to represent taxpayers before all administrative levels of the IRS and is actively pursuing admission to practice before the U.S. Tax Court through the Court’s rigorous non-attorney examination process.
Jessica is the founder of The 100K EA, a program designed to mentor tax practitioners in building six-figure practices rooted in confidence, systems, and expertise. She also co-founded Workflows for Tax Pros, a consultancy that empowers tax practitioners to optimize and automate their practices using tools like TaxDome.
Her most recent venture, TaxReview2Do, is a purpose-built software solution designed to bring structure, speed, and accuracy to the tax return review process, helping firms standardize quality and scale with ease.
Jessica earned her Bachelor of Science in Accounting, summa cum laude, from California College. She is a member of the National Association of Enrolled Agents (NAEA) and the Idaho Association of Tax Consultants.

Jim Buttonow, CPA, CITP, has been a leader in helping taxpayers and tax professionals resolve
tax problems with the IRS.
For 19 years, Jim worked at the IRS in various compliance enforcement positions. Since 2006, Jim has been in private practice and tax and accounting software development. Jim consulting practice focuses on the areas of tax controversy and tax administration. Jim led product development and marketing for a successful software company that developed tax problem software for tax professionals and has developed and implemented post-filing tax services to large tax providers, such as H&R Block and Jackson Hewitt. This software is currently being used by tens of thousands of tax professionals and businesses in the United States.
Jim has been an IRS partner in improving IRS operations and post-filing service to taxpayers. Jim served as chairperson of the IRS Electronic Tax Administration Advisory Committee (ETAAC) in 2015 and 2016 during which ETAAC played a central role in promoting the IRS digital strategy to develop transformative technology solutions to systemic challenges in tax administration. Jim also served as the North Carolina representative on the IRS’ Taxpayer Advocacy Panel (TAP) from 2020-2022. Jim also serves as the IRS Representation expert for the National Association of Tax Professionals (NATP).
Jim regularly speaks on areas of tax administration and problem solving to national associations and has testified before Congress in areas of tax administration. He has also published many articles in industry publications. In his articles, Jim focuses on delivering practical insights, advocating for IRS transparency and efficiency, and proposing innovative large-scale solutions for taxpayers and tax professionals.
Jim currently authors the Tax Problems and Solutions Handbook, a publication aimed at helping tax pros work more effectively in post-filing matters and resolving their clients’ most common tax problems. John T. Mulcahy is a member of the Nixon Peabody’s Litigation Department and Government Investigations & White Collar Defense practice group. John is a trial lawyer and has more than 15 years of experience as a federal and state prosecutor in high-stakes matters involving tax, healthcare, public corruption, money laundering, extortion, obstruction of justice, and bribery. He has tried more than 40 civil and criminal cases in federal and state courts. In addition, before becoming a prosecutor, John was in private practice at major international and regional law firms.


John began his tax career in 1987 and passed the IRS Special Enrollment Exam in 1995. A National Tax Practice Institute fellow and SUNY Oswego graduate, he specializes in taxation for non-resident aliens, U.S. citizens living abroad, S corps, legal marijuana businesses, and cryptocurrency.
