Amy M. Wall, EA, MBA, is retired from her private tax practice in Tucson, Arizona, where she worked with individuals, small businesses and S Corporations. Amy now spends her time teaching and writing on taxation. She teaches for several continuing education providers and has been published in a number of tax journals, including NATP’s Tax Pro Journal and Wolters Kluwer Journal of Tax Practice & Procedure. She is the author of Virtual Tax: the taxation of Cryptocurrency; Income Taxes for Real Estate Agents; Divorce and Taxes, and The Parish, a work of fiction about a tax preparer whose nighttime clients aren’t quite what they seem.


Andrea MacDonald, CPA is a currently practicing accountant with over 20 years of experience. Her firm, Steadfast Bookkeeping, provides accounting, tax, and advisory services to small and medium sized businesses in the home services, professional services, and creatives industries.In 2013, Andrea founded Pro Tax & Accounting. Ten years later, in May 2023, she acquired Steadfast Bookkeeping and merged the two firms into one. In February 2024, a third firm merged into the mix. Brad is the third-generation owner of M & J Tax Service and an Enrolled Agent with over 25 years of experience in income tax preparation and information security management. During his business studies, Dan quickly discovered his knack for numbers. These days, instead of defending castles, he defends taxpayer rights, representing clients before the IRS and other agencies with over 25 years of management and customer service experience.A champion of tax professionals, David loves mentoring and teaching, sharing strategies to help others thrive in the industry. Donna first encountered tax issues as a teenage forestry major in a forest economics course at Oregon State University. A few educational twists and turns eventually led her to Temple Law School in Philadelphia, where she discovered her passion for tax law. She joined the tax section of a large Philadelphia law firm, Morgan Lewis, and was quickly recruited to serve as an adjunct law professor—launching a 23-year full-time teaching career.
She now holds the title of Emerita Professor of Law at Mitchell Hamline School of Law in St. Paul, MN, where she taught tax courses as well as Property, Estates and Trusts, and Food Law. (Emerita signifies she left on good terms and remains respected by the institution.) Donna began preparing tax returns as a volunteer long before computers were common in the office. Today, she owns Ash Creek Tax & Legal Services LLC in Monmouth, Oregon, providing tax preparation, estate planning, and taxpayer representation since 2016.


Edward Mendlowitz, CPA is emeritus partner with Withum, on Forbes Top 200 CPAs in America list, one of Accounting Today’s 100 Most Influential People, an adjunct professor at Fairleigh Dickinson University and Baruch College and the author of 32 books including many books on reviewing tax returns and managing tax season. He has testified twice at the House Ways and Means Committee on Tax Policy.


Ellie views her role as an Enrolled Agent much like Ariadne in the labyrinth—an advocate guiding clients through the complexities of the tax world with clarity and consistency. She holds a Master of Library Science and a Master’s in English, and she teaches for various tax organizations while contributing to trade magazines, journals, and tax compendiums. In her spare time, Ellie writes fiction, both short and long form, that has been published. Her professional focus includes individuals, small businesses, and tax representation, helping clients navigate tax challenges with expertise and care.
