When not working, his time is spent in various activities, including traveling with his wife and their two children.

Amy M. Wall, EA, MBA, is retired from her private tax practice in Tucson, Arizona, where she worked with individuals, small businesses and S Corporations. Amy now spends her time teaching and writing on taxation. She teaches for several continuing education providers and has been published in a number of tax journals, including NATP’s Tax Pro Journal and Wolters Kluwer Journal of Tax Practice & Procedure. She is the author of Virtual Tax: the taxation of Cryptocurrency; Income Taxes for Real Estate Agents; Divorce and Taxes, and The Parish, a work of fiction about a tax preparer whose nighttime clients aren’t quite what they seem.

John began his tax career in 1987 and passed the IRS Special Enrollment Exam in 1995. A National Tax Practice Institute fellow and SUNY Oswego graduate, he specializes in taxation for non-resident aliens, U.S. citizens living abroad, S corps, legal marijuana businesses, and cryptocurrency.

Jane Ryder, EA, CPA is a national speaker on many accounting, tax, and business compliance topics. She runs her CPA firm, Brass Tax Ryder Professional Group, Inc.in San Diego, California. Brass Tax (not affiliated with Brass Tax Presentations) has been providing tax and accounting services since 1980.Brass Tax is a business centric practice, preparing and consulting on the preparation of Corporations, S corporations, LLCs, Partnerships, and Trusts. She also specializes in IRS and state agencies collections, audit appeals, offers in compromise, and other compliance related matters.

Mike has been in the tax business for over 40 years. He began working in IRScollection and then as an Office Auditor. This included temporary assignments to theAtlanta Service Center, Review Staff, and a Revenue Agent Class Instructorassignment. Upon leaving the service, he received his EA in 1989. He then worked fora tax attorney and estate planning firm before starting his own tax company in 2001.That company, Garrison Tax, has an office in Lawrenceville, GA. He currently serves onthe board of the NATP’s Georgia State Chapter.

Randy manages two accounting offices near Des Moines, IA. He has been preparing taxes since 1992. He really enjoys meeting with fellow tax preparers and has traveled to many states as a tax instructor. When not working with clients or out on the road instructing, he enjoys hiking in the National Parks or exploring the bike trails in the Midwest.

Portia Vogt is the Managing Partner of Twin Cities Tax in Prior Lake, MN. She focuses on Representationand Small Business tax clients. Twin Cities Tax has 4 employees, all of whom work most hours from their own locations remotely coordinating. Her practice has been able to deploy new technology due in part that her spouse, Michael Vogt, PhD specializes in artificial intelligences. Portia’s own degrees are in Business and Communications from Augsburg University, in Minneapolis. She is an Enrolled Agent and NTPI Fellow. Portia and her husband, Michael, have five adult children. Three sons’ serve in the Military and their two daughters both work in the entertainment & travel industry. Portia and Michael believe that professional education is key to achieving the American Dream and bothhave been sought out to teach in their fields. Portia loves to travel, motorcycling ,gardening, scuba diving and enjoys getting in exercise most days.

Eve Davis, EA, LTC is an Oregon licensed Tax Consultant and an Enrolled Agent. She started her career as a tax preparer in 1996. In 1999, she and her husband Peter opened In or Out TaxService Inc. in Portland, Oregon. In the last 5 years, both of their twin daughters joined the firm, making it a true family business. In or Out Tax Service Inc. prepares over 900 returns annually. The clientele includes individuals, small businesses and hundreds of pass-through entities such as S-corporations and Partnerships.
