Rita Ryan is the Founder of RRITS and a seasoned Tax Attorney with more than 18 years of experience advising clients on cross-border personal/business taxation, international investment structuring, multi-jurisdictional estate planning, and U.S. tax compliance obligations arising from global activities and holdings. She is widely regarded for her ability to navigate complex international tax regimes and translate evolving regulatory requirements into practical, strategic guidance.
In addition to her client-facing work, Rita serves as a trusted advisor to fellow tax professionals, providing specialized support in identifying international reporting obligations, advising on complex filings, and reviewing workpapers and forms to ensure technical accuracy in an increasingly dynamic international compliance environment.
Prior to founding RRITS, Rita served as Chief Financial Officer and Head of Private Client Services at M+, where she focused on integrated tax, business, and wealth preservation planning for high-net-worth business owners and their families. Earlier in her career, she founded and led Wolf & Co.’s International Tax Services Practice, advising both individuals and entities on the tax planning and compliance aspects of international ownership structures. Rita began her legal career in private practice as an Associate Attorney at Vacovec, Mayotte & Singer, LLP, concentrating on international and domestic taxation, estate planning, and tax controversy matters.
Rita is also an Adjunct Professor in the Graduate Tax Program at Boston University School of Law, where she co-founded and co-teaches the course Foreign Information Reporting and Withholding. In addition, she regularly teaches advanced international tax topics for Tax Practice Pros, LumiQ, and the National Association of Enrolled Agents, contributing to the education of practitioners nationwide.

Frank Agostino is one of the most accomplished tax controversy attorneys in the country, with more than four decades of litigation experience and a string of landmark victories that have reshaped IRS enforcement and Tax Court procedure — including Commissioner v. Zuch before the U.S. Supreme Court (2025) and Chai v. Commissioner in the Second Circuit (2017).
Because of Frank’s stellar reputation in the tax bar, he has been ranked in Chambers in Band 1 for Tax: Fraud Nationwide (USA) and in Band 1 for High Net Worth Private Client: Tax.
A former IRS District Counsel attorney and Special Assistant U.S. Attorney, Frank has also taught tax controversy at Seton Hall and Rutgers Law, and currently serves on the Advisory Board of the Journal of Tax Practice and Procedure.

Marina Hernandez is a Certified Financial Planner™, Enrolled Agent, and Global Financial Planner with a specialized focus on U.S.–Swiss cross-border planning. She founded MHTax in 2009 and Swiss American Wealth Advisors in 2020 to provide integrated tax and wealth guidance to international families seeking clarity, simplicity, and objective advice.
Since 2016, Marina has served as an instructor with Tax Practice Pro and has been teaching with the Global Financial Planning Institute since 2020. Donna first encountered tax issues as a teenage forestry major in a forest economics course at Oregon State University. A few educational twists and turns eventually led her to Temple Law School in Philadelphia, where she discovered her passion for tax law. She joined the tax section of a large Philadelphia law firm, Morgan Lewis, and was quickly recruited to serve as an adjunct law professor—launching a 23-year full-time teaching career.
She now holds the title of Emerita Professor of Law at Mitchell Hamline School of Law in St. Paul, MN, where she taught tax courses as well as Property, Estates and Trusts, and Food Law. (Emerita signifies she left on good terms and remains respected by the institution.) Donna began preparing tax returns as a volunteer long before computers were common in the office. Today, she owns Ash Creek Tax & Legal Services LLC in Monmouth, Oregon, providing tax preparation, estate planning, and taxpayer representation since 2016.


Edward Mendlowitz, CPA is emeritus partner with Withum, on Forbes Top 200 CPAs in America list, one of Accounting Today’s 100 Most Influential People, an adjunct professor at Fairleigh Dickinson University and Baruch College and the author of 32 books including many books on reviewing tax returns and managing tax season. He has testified twice at the House Ways and Means Committee on Tax Policy.


Ellie views her role as an Enrolled Agent much like Ariadne in the labyrinth—an advocate guiding clients through the complexities of the tax world with clarity and consistency. She holds a Master of Library Science and a Master’s in English, and she teaches for various tax organizations while contributing to trade magazines, journals, and tax compendiums. In her spare time, Ellie writes fiction, both short and long form, that has been published. Her professional focus includes individuals, small businesses, and tax representation, helping clients navigate tax challenges with expertise and care.


Eve Davis, EA, LTC is an Oregon licensed Tax Consultant and an Enrolled Agent. She started her career as a tax preparer in 1996. In 1999, she and her husband Peter opened In or Out TaxService Inc. in Portland, Oregon. In the last 5 years, both of their twin daughters joined the firm, making it a true family business. In or Out Tax Service Inc. prepares over 900 returns annually. The clientele includes individuals, small businesses and hundreds of pass-through entities such as S-corporations and Partnerships.

She has represented clients in a wide variety of cases, including collection enforcement defense, examination defense, Trust Fund Recovery Penalties, penalty abatements, and innocent spouse relief requests before various IRS units and state revenue agencies.
Heather is a passionate volunteer with the Maryland Volunteer Lawyers Service (MVLS) Low-Income Taxpayer Clinic, and earned the "Young Volunteer of the Year" award in 2020. Most recently, the Taxation Section of the Maryland State Bar Association recognized Heather with the J. Ronald Shiff Memorial Pro Bono Award in 2025. In her free time, Heather enjoys traveling, off-roading, and swimming.
